Paula McGloin is an award winning Dublin based illustrator and Surface Pattern Designer. Born in Sligo in the west of Ireland, she spent her childhood nearby woods, mountains and the sea. Her love of nature, vintage and bold vibrant detail is evident from her bright and eclectic illustrations. She finds inspiration scouring vintage flea markets, hiking in the woods or travelling to new places.

Paula is a member of Illustrators Guild of Ireland and the Association of Illustrators (UK). She studied Visual Communications at the National College of Art and Design, and later a Masters in Digital Media Technology at Dublin Institute of Technology. Paula worked for a number of years as a graphic designer before exploring her career as an illustrator.
